Two-way sync
Changes in Cvent or Vitally instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Cvent and Vitally in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Vitally owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Cvent runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Custom Trait, Account, User, Organization in Vitally with Attendees and Registrations, Sessions, Speakers, Exhibitors in Cvent field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — Vitally can own account and opportunity status while Cvent owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Where Cvent builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in Vitally, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
New leads or responders captured in Cvent flow into Vitally assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
When a contact or lead is created or edited in either system, the matching record appears or updates in the other, so campaigns reach real people and reps see who is already being marketed to.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Cvent objects | Vitally objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attendees and Registrations Per-event registrants; written in from CRM or marketing signup flows via POST /ea/attendees and read back out to a warehouse for attendance and registration-status reporting. | User End users tied to accounts, including activity and custom traits. | Attendees and Registrations is specific to Cvent and User to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Sessions Agenda items within an event; listed or created through the API and synced so session-level attendance feeds reporting tables. | Organization Parent organizations for hierarchical B2B account structures. | Sessions is specific to Cvent and Organization to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Speakers Speaker records tied to an event; synced two-way with a speaker database or CMS, with an updatedDate on each record for incremental pulls. | Task CS tasks and follow-ups, readable and writable for workflow sync. | Speakers is specific to Cvent and Task to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Exhibitors Exhibitor and sponsor records; synced to a CRM or database to track booth, sponsorship, and lead-capture data per event. | Note Account and user notes captured by success teams. | Exhibitors is specific to Cvent and Note to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Surveys Survey definitions and responses; read out to a warehouse for post-event feedback analysis alongside attendance data. | Conversation Customer conversations logged in Vitally; activity objects include parent object details in the payload. | Surveys is specific to Cvent and Conversation to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Budgets Event budget line items; read into a finance database or ERP to reconcile planned versus actual event spend. | NPS Response NPS survey responses for account-health reporting. | Budgets is specific to Cvent and NPS Response to Vitally — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCvent notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Per-event webhooks push attendee, registration, session, and speaker changes.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Vitally through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Cvent and Vitally: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Cvent's Attendees and Registrations and Sessions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Cvent and Vitally: Segments and audiences follow the CRM; Where Cvent generates leads: hand-off without re-keying; New and updated people stay in step. Where Cvent builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in Vitally, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
Cvent: Cvent REST API (JSON over HTTPS at api-platform.cvent.com/ea, paginated list endpoints). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials flow: a client ID and secret are Basic-auth exchanged for a 60-minute bearer token at api-platform.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token; legacy API-key and SOAP/CSN auth are deprecated. Vitally: REST API with cursor-based pagination (sortable by createdAt/updatedAt). Authentication: API key via Basic Auth; keys created in Settings -> Integrations -> REST API and individually revocable. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Vitally: REST API supports create, update, retrieve, and list on Users, Accounts, Conversations, Tasks, Notes, and NPS Responses. Cvent: The current unified REST API supersedes the legacy SOAP-based Cvent API and CSN API; API-key authentication is deprecated in favor of OAuth 2.0. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Cvent and Vitally without custom code.
