Real-time sync
Changes in Clearbit or Gong instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Clearbit and Gong in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Clearbit is a read-only source: Stacksync reads its data in real time and delivers it into Gong, so Gong always reflects the current state of Clearbit — without exports, scripts, or schedulers.
Two CRMs in one company is more common than anyone plans for: an acquisition brings its own system, regions or business units standardize differently, or a migration is under way and both are live. In every case, some of the same companies and people exist in both systems, and every day of manual double entry pushes the copies further apart.
Keep both CRMs accurate while the merged team decides on a target system, instead of freezing one and losing months of updates.
When one CRM is replacing the other, run both fully live until cutover, with no snapshot gap and no data freeze.
Where each CRM serves a different team or region, sync just the shared accounts and contacts so handoffs and cross-sell work.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Clearbit objects | Gong objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enrichment attributes The firmographic and technographic fields appended to destination records. | Calls Retrieved via POST /v2/calls/extensive with participants, topics, trackers, scorecards, and media URLs, filtered by fromDateTime/toDateTime; external recordings are also imported via POST /v2/calls with media uploaded via PUT /v2/calls/{id}/media. Read and write. | Enrichment attributes is specific to Clearbit and Calls to Gong — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Companies Firmographic profiles looked up by domain and merged into account records. | Transcripts Speaker-attributed, timestamped sentences retrieved via POST /v2/calls/transcript for one or more callIds; available only after asynchronous processing completes. Read-only. | Companies is specific to Clearbit and Transcripts to Gong — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Persons Individual profiles looked up by email and used to enrich contacts and leads. | Users Gong users and team members with roles, titles, email, and settings, read via GET /v2/users to map call owners and participants to CRM and warehouse identities. Read-only. | Persons is specific to Clearbit and Users to Gong — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Reveal matches IP-to-company resolutions used to identify anonymous website traffic. | Interaction Stats (Activity) Aggregated talk/listen ratios, interaction stats, and day-by-day user activity retrieved via POST /v2/stats endpoints; read out for coaching and engagement reporting. Read-only. | Reveal matches is specific to Clearbit and Interaction Stats (Activity) to Gong — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Name-to-domain lookups Company name resolution used to normalize account records before enrichment. | Trackers & Scorecards Keyword and topic tracker definitions plus coaching scorecards, including answered scorecards, read from Settings as coaching and deal-risk signals. Read-only. | Name-to-domain lookups is specific to Clearbit and Trackers & Scorecards to Gong — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionClearbit notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. On-demand lookups.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gong through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionStacksync polls Gong for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling POST /v2/calls/extensive on fromDateTime/toDateTime.
DeliveryClearbit does not accept inbound record writes, so this direction carries requests rather than records: Clearbit's output flows back as field updates on the originating Gong records.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time integration between Clearbit and Gong — Clearbit is a read-only source, so data flows from it into the other system: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync, map fields visually, and changes propagate in milliseconds — no code required.
Clearbit is a read-only source, so this integration runs one-way: Stacksync reads from Clearbit in real time and delivers into Gong. Field mapping and monitoring work the same as for two-way pairs.
Common patterns for Clearbit and Gong: Post-acquisition consolidation; Migration with a parallel run; Divisional or regional split. Keep both CRMs accurate while the merged team decides on a target system, instead of freezing one and losing months of updates.
Clearbit: REST API (separate endpoints per product: Enrichment, Reveal). Authentication: API key (bearer secret key). Gong: REST API on api.gong.io/v2 - retrieval endpoints (calls, transcript, users, stats, settings, library, logs) plus write endpoints for importing calls, uploading CRM data, and data-privacy erasure. Authentication: Basic authorization header combining an Access Key and Access Key Secret (created by a Gong technical admin, base64-encoded as key:secret); OAuth 2.0 Bearer tokens are supported for marketplace apps. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Clearbit: Lookups can resolve asynchronously: the API may accept a request and deliver the completed record later via webhook, which sync logic must accommodate. Gong: Writes follow a system-of-engagement pattern - importing external call recordings (POST /v2/calls plus media upload), uploading CRM objects for context, and data-privacy erasure - so Gong is not a general write target for arbitrary business records. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Clearbit and Gong without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Clearbit and Gong records are not retained after a sync operation.
