Two-way sync
Changes in Cin7 or Gainsight instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Cin7 and Gainsight in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
The ERP holds the records the business is run on, and it is rarely where day-to-day work happens. Gainsight is closer to the work, and the two often need the same facts about the same people, organizations, and transactions. Bridging them by hand, or by nightly file transfer, leaves each side out of date for hours at a time.
Stacksync syncs Person (People), Relationship, CTA (Call to Action), Scorecard Fact in Gainsight with Contacts, Branches / locations, Stock adjustments and transfers, Credit notes / returns in Cin7 bi-directionally and in real time, with field-level mapping and rules for which system wins on conflict. Changes made where the work happens reach the system of record within seconds, and the reverse.
Worker and organization data from Cin7 stays current in Gainsight, so the tools people use daily reflect the org as it actually is.
A customer, supplier, or contact detail corrected in either system updates the other, ending duplicate maintenance.
Order, invoice, or account status from Cin7 appears alongside the customer in Gainsight, so front-line teams answer from live data.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Cin7 objects | Gainsight objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purchase orders Supplier orders synced with procurement and accounting workflows. | Scorecard Fact Health scores and measures per Company or Relationship; usage metrics from a warehouse are written in so scores reflect live telemetry. | Purchase orders is specific to Cin7 and Scorecard Fact to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contacts Customers and suppliers, matched to CRM records to keep account data consistent. | Timeline Activity Logged calls, emails, and notes; usually read out into a reporting database for QBR and churn analysis. | Contacts is specific to Cin7 and Timeline Activity to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Branches / locations Warehouse entities that scope every stock movement and order allocation. | Success Plan Account objectives with associated tasks; read out for reporting or synced with project tools tracking onboarding and adoption. | Branches / locations is specific to Cin7 and Success Plan to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Stock adjustments and transfers Inventory movements read for audit and reconciliation reporting. | Task and Playbook Cockpit tasks generated from CTAs and playbooks; synced with Jira or Asana so execution happens in the team's own tool. | Stock adjustments and transfers is specific to Cin7 and Task and Playbook to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Credit notes / returns Return documents synced so finance and support see the same refund state. | Custom Objects Org-specific MDA tables with the __gc suffix; discoverable via the Describe API so field mappings can be generated automatically. | Credit notes / returns is specific to Cin7 and Custom Objects to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Products SKU records with options and pricing, synced with storefront and marketplace catalogs. | Company Customer/account master in Gainsight CS; two-way synced with CRM and warehouse customer tables to keep ARR, owner, and renewal fields aligned. | Products is specific to Cin7 and Company to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCin7 notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling on modified-date filters.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gainsight through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionStacksync polls Gainsight for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on the ModifiedDate (GS Modified Date) system field, which is filterable and sortable on every object.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Cin7 and Gainsight: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Cin7's Purchase orders and Contacts), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Cin7: REST API; note that Cin7 Omni and Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR Systems) are separate products with separate APIs. Authentication: API key credentials (paired with a username or account ID, depending on the product). Gainsight: REST APIs (per-object) and asynchronous Bulk REST API. Authentication: API access key passed in the 'accesskey' request header (non-expiring), generated by a Gainsight admin; M2M OAuth (Client ID/Secret) is also supported. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Gainsight: Person records associate to Company via the Company Person object and to Relationship via Relationship Person; those junctions must be maintained for contacts to resolve correctly. Cin7: Cin7 is two distinct products under one brand: Cin7 Omni and Cin7 Core (the former DEAR Systems), each with its own API, credentials, and object shapes, so a connector must target the right one. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Cin7 and Gainsight without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Cin7 and Gainsight records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Cin7 and Gainsight connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Cin7–Gainsight integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Cin7 and Gainsight. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
