Two-way sync
Changes in Chorusai or Marketo instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Chorusai and Marketo in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Chorusai owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Marketo runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Trackers, Deals, Scorecards, Moments in Chorusai with Activities and Lead Changes, Static Lists, Programs and Program Members, Smart Campaigns in Marketo field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — Chorusai can own account and opportunity status while Marketo owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Where Marketo builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in Chorusai, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
New leads or responders captured in Marketo flow into Chorusai assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Chorusai objects | Marketo objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scorecards Call QA and coaching assessments with reviewer, recipient, and scores; read and exported for rep-performance reporting. | Programs and Program Members Marketing programs read via /rest/v1/programs.json; program membership and member status managed via /rest/v1/leads/programs/{programId}.json and the program status endpoint for acquisition and attribution reporting. | Scorecards is specific to Chorusai and Programs and Program Members to Marketo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Moments Timestamped highlight clips from a conversation; created via the API to capture key call snippets. | Smart Campaigns Automation flows read via /rest/v1/campaigns.json and run against a set of Leads by requesting a trigger campaign with POST /rest/v1/campaigns/{id}/trigger.json, so downstream logic can push Leads into a Marketo flow. | Moments is specific to Chorusai and Smart Campaigns to Marketo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Playlists Curated collections of Moments and Recordings; created and managed to share coaching examples across teams. | Leads Core person records (called Leads/People), deduped on email address by default or a configured dedupe field; read via GET /rest/v1/leads.json with a filterType, upserted via POST /rest/v1/leads.json (action createOrUpdate/createOnly/updateOnly), bulk-imported via CSV through POST /bulk/v1/leads.json, and bulk-exported via /bulk/v1/leads/export/create.json. | Playlists is specific to Chorusai and Leads to Marketo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Engagements Meetings and dialer calls, the core record; filterable by date_time, participants, and processing_state, and polled incrementally to read conversation activity out. | Companies Company records linked to Leads via a company link field; read and upserted through /rest/v1/companies.json, typically mastered in a CRM or ERP and written into Marketo for account context. | Engagements is specific to Chorusai and Companies to Marketo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Recordings (Conversations) The recorded call with utterances, transcript, thumbnails, and metrics; read for analysis and uploaded or deleted through the API. | Opportunities and Opportunity Roles Revenue objects synced via /rest/v1/opportunities.json and /rest/v1/opportunities/roles.json; roles associate an opportunity with a Lead, so pipeline data can drive nurture and scoring. | Recordings (Conversations) is specific to Chorusai and Opportunities and Opportunity Roles to Marketo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Users Chorus users with roles and team membership; read to map engagement owners and participants to CRM and warehouse identities. | Custom Objects Auxiliary data tables described via /rest/v1/customobjects.json and read/written via /rest/v1/customobjects/{apiName}.json, linked to Leads by a dedupe/link field so campaigns branch on records like purchases or subscriptions. | Users is specific to Chorusai and Custom Objects to Marketo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Chorusai for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling the engagements endpoint on date_time and processing_state.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Marketo through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Pick the Chorusai and Marketo objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Chorusai and Marketo: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Chorusai's Scorecards and Moments), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
On the Chorusai side: Trackers, Deals, Scorecards, Moments, plus custom fields where Chorusai exposes them. On the Marketo side: Activities and Lead Changes, Static Lists, Programs and Program Members, Smart Campaigns. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Chorusai and Marketo: Lead and lifecycle status agree; Segments and audiences follow the CRM; Where Marketo generates leads: hand-off without re-keying. Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Chorusai: REST API (api-docs.chorus.ai). Authentication: Per-user API token generated in Chorus Personal Settings, sent in the Authorization request header. Marketo: Marketo REST API (JSON over HTTPS) for Leads, Companies, Opportunities, Custom Objects, Activities, Lists, Programs, and Campaigns, plus an asynchronous Bulk Import (leads) and Bulk Extract (leads/activities/program members/custom objects) API and an Asset REST API for emails, forms, and landing pages. Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client_credentials (2-legged): GET the Identity URL /oauth/token?grant_type=client_credentials with a Custom Service client_id and client_secret to receive an access token valid for 3600 seconds, then send it as Authorization: Bearer on each call. The instance base URL is https://{munchkinId}.mktorest.com; passing the token as an access_token query parameter is deprecated (removal July 31, 2026). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Chorusai: API tokens are per-user and scoped to that user's visibility, so syncing org-wide engagements requires a service account with broad access. Marketo: Leads deduplicate on email address by default (or a configured dedupe field / Marketo id), and POST /rest/v1/leads.json with action createOrUpdate upserts against that key, so records without a match key create duplicates. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Chorusai and Marketo without custom code.
