Two-way sync
Changes in Campfire or Docusign instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Campfire and Docusign in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Debit Memo, Invoice, Credit Memo, Bank Account in Campfire with Folders, Users, Envelopes, Recipients in Docusign in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Contact and company details corrected in either tool update the other, so nobody works from the old version.
Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Campfire objects | Docusign objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank Transaction Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Tabs (form fields) Signature, initial, date, text, and checkbox fields on a document; they carry the data a signer entered and are read out into databases. | Bank Transaction is specific to Campfire and Tabs (form fields) to Docusign — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Journal Entry Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Envelope Custom Fields Text and list metadata used to tag envelopes for reporting; synced to a warehouse or CRM to key and categorize agreements. | Journal Entry is specific to Campfire and Envelope Custom Fields to Docusign — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Intercompany Journal Entry Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Folders Containers such as Inbox, Sent, and Draft plus custom folders; listed and moved to organize envelopes and drive reporting queries. | Intercompany Journal Entry is specific to Campfire and Folders to Docusign — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Chart of Accounts Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Users Account members and senders; the eSignature Users resource exposes them for attribution and reporting, while bulk org-wide user provisioning uses the separate Admin API. | Chart of Accounts is specific to Campfire and Users to Docusign — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Chart Transaction Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Envelopes The core container for a signature request — documents, recipients, routing, and status; read status and metadata two-way, and create/send new envelopes. | Chart Transaction is specific to Campfire and Envelopes to Docusign — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Fixed Asset Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Recipients Signers, carbon copies, and agents on an envelope, each with a routing order and status; read recipient progress, write recipient lists when an envelope is created. | Fixed Asset is specific to Campfire and Recipients to Docusign — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionCampfire pushes changes as they happen — webhook events backed by change data capture. Near real-time updates via change tracking (incremental sync).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Docusign through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionDocusign notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Docusign Connect webhooks push envelope and recipient status-change events in real time.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Campfire and Docusign with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Campfire and Docusign objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Campfire and Docusign: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Campfire's Bank Transaction and Journal Entry), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Campfire and Docusign: Handoffs between teams; Where both tools track people or companies: one consistent record; Where one tool produces events: mirror them in the other. When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Campfire: HTTP endpoints for bot integrations on a self-hosted instance. Authentication: API key — create an API user with a Super User Role in Campfire (Settings -> API Keys), generate an API Key secret, and provide it in the Stacksync connection setup. Docusign: ESignature REST API v2.1 (plus Docusign Connect webhooks; separate CLM, Rooms, and Admin APIs). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 — Authorization Code Grant for interactive apps, or JWT Grant (RSA key pair with user impersonation) for server-to-server integrations. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Campfire: The current Campfire is distributed by 37signals as self-hosted, open-source software, so the available integration surface depends on the deployed instance and its version. Docusign: Tabs and recipient data are scoped to a single envelope; there is no cross-envelope record object, so field mappings are defined per template or envelope structure. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Campfire and Docusign without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Campfire and Docusign records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Campfire and Docusign connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Campfire–Docusign integration in-house.
