Two-way sync
Changes in Bigcommerce or Coupa instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Bigcommerce and Coupa in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Bigcommerce runs the storefront — the catalog, the orders, and the buyers placing them. Coupa records the money behind those orders — invoices, revenue, payments, and the ledger the business closes on. The overlap is every customer, order, and product both sides need to agree on, and when that overlap is bridged by CSV export or an overnight batch, finance reconciles against stale numbers while the store quotes prices or stock the books no longer recognize.
Stacksync syncs Expense Reports, Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Invoices in Coupa with Variants and SKUs, Orders, Customers, Categories in Bigcommerce field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — an order's totals from Bigcommerce, its paid-or-overdue state from Coupa — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
The result is one shared record of who bought what and whether it has been paid, so the storefront, support, and the finance team all read from the same current data instead of re-keying it between systems.
Refunds, cancellations, and credit notes raised in either system update the corresponding record in the other, keeping balances honest on both sides.
A new or updated order in Bigcommerce creates or updates the matching invoice or revenue record in Coupa, so billing and reporting start without re-entry.
Paid, overdue, and refunded state from Coupa lands on the order or account in Bigcommerce, so the store and support see what has actually been collected.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Bigcommerce objects | Coupa objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price Lists V3 price lists and records driving customer-group and B2B pricing; pushed from an ERP so tiered prices stay current. | Suppliers Supplier master records; kept aligned with an ERP vendor master and onboarding tools, synced two-way on the /suppliers resource. | Price Lists is specific to Bigcommerce and Suppliers to Coupa — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Shipments Order shipments with tracking numbers; created in BigCommerce from a 3PL or fulfillment system as packages ship. | Users Employee and user accounts with roles and content groups; provisioned and updated from an HRIS or identity provider. | Shipments is specific to Bigcommerce and Users to Coupa — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Products Catalog V3 records with custom fields and images; mastered in a PIM or ERP and written to BigCommerce, or read out to a warehouse. | Accounts Chart-of-accounts segments and GL codes; usually mastered in the ERP and written into Coupa so requisitions and invoices code correctly. | Products is specific to Bigcommerce and Accounts to Coupa — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Variants and SKUs Per-variant pricing and inventory; synced to keep stock and SKU data aligned with an ERP or WMS at the option level. | Contracts Supplier contract records with terms and dates; read out for reporting or created from a CLM system. | Variants and SKUs is specific to Bigcommerce and Contracts to Coupa — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Orders V2 Orders API header, line items, and shipping/billing addresses; read into an ERP or accounting system, with status written back. | Expense Reports Employee expense reports and their lines; exported to AP or ERP for reimbursement and GL posting. | Orders is specific to Bigcommerce and Expense Reports to Coupa — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Customers V3 customer accounts, customer groups, and addresses; synced two-way with a CRM so storefront and GTM records match. | Requisitions Employee purchase requests with lines and approval chains; read out to warehouses, or created via the API from upstream intake tools. | Customers is specific to Bigcommerce and Requisitions to Coupa — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionBigcommerce notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks push near-real-time events (store/order/*, store/product/*, store/customer/* and more).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Coupa through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Bigcommerce and Coupa: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Bigcommerce's Price Lists and Shipments), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Bigcommerce and Coupa: Refunds and credits reconcile; Where Bigcommerce originates orders: sales flow into the books; Where Coupa is the money system of record: payment status on the order. Refunds, cancellations, and credit notes raised in either system update the corresponding record in the other, keeping balances honest on both sides.
Bigcommerce: REST Management API (V2 and V3), plus GraphQL Storefront and Admin APIs. Authentication: OAuth API account credentials — a store-generated client ID and permanent access token sent in the X-Auth-Token header, limited to the OAuth scopes granted when the account is created (e.g. store_v2_orders, store_v2_products). Coupa: REST Core API (JSON or XML). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 / OIDC via the client-credentials grant; scopes take the service.object.right form (e.g. core.accounting.read, core.accounting.write). Legacy API keys are being retired (no new keys since R34; API-key auth unsupported from R36). Access tokens last 24 hours. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Coupa: The Core API returns 50 records per page, so large object pulls must paginate with offset/limit, which makes full backfills slow. Bigcommerce: Webhooks deactivate automatically after a series of failed retries spanning about 48 hours from the first attempt, or after 90 days with no events, so subscriptions must be monitored and re-created. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Bigcommerce and Coupa without custom code.
