Two-way sync
Changes in Autopilot or Microsoft Dynamics 365 instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365 in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Autopilot works on data it does not own. The records, conversations, tickets, messages, and events it needs to embed, classify, summarize, or answer questions about actually live in Microsoft Dynamics 365, the tool the team uses every day. So the value of Autopilot depends on two flows that most teams stitch together with a custom script or a one-time export: getting Microsoft Dynamics 365's data in, and getting the model's results back out to where people can act on them. When either flow runs on a batch or a stale snapshot, the model reasons over yesterday's data and its output never reaches the record it belongs to.
Stacksync syncs Cases (Incidents), Quotes, Orders & Invoices, Products, Activities from Microsoft Dynamics 365 into Autopilot continuously, so the model always works from current records instead of a snapshot, and writes Smart Segments, Journeys (Triggers), Activities, Contacts, the scores, labels, summaries, drafts, and embedding metadata Autopilot produces, back onto the matching record in Microsoft Dynamics 365. The sync is field-level and keyed on a stable identifier, so every output attaches to the exact record it came from and each system keeps its own extra fields untouched.
You decide the direction and the trigger conditions per field: pull records one way to build and keep a retrieval corpus current, push results the other way onto the operational record, or both.
Categories, sentiment, priority, or scores produced by Autopilot write back onto the matching record in Microsoft Dynamics 365, so the team acts on them in the tool they already use.
Summaries, suggested replies, or generated content from Autopilot sync onto the Microsoft Dynamics 365 record as a field or note, ready for a person to review before it goes out.
Because each item is matched on a stable identifier, an Autopilot result always attaches to the record in Microsoft Dynamics 365 it was computed from, with no manual reconciliation.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Autopilot objects | Microsoft Dynamics 365 objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contacts Core people records (email, name, custom fields, list and segment membership); upserted two-way as the primary sync object. | Contacts Person records kept consistent with marketing, support, and data-warehouse copies. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. Custom fields on either side are included in the mapping. | |
| Activities Per-contact activity and event history (opens, clicks, journey steps); read-only feed used for engagement reporting. | Activities Emails, calls, and tasks captured for engagement analytics. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Custom Fields User-defined contact properties (string, number, date, boolean); discovered so field keys map cleanly to destination columns. | Opportunities Pipeline records synced with forecasting, CPQ, and billing systems. | Custom Fields is specific to Autopilot and Opportunities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Smart Segments Rule-based dynamic audiences; membership is computed by Autopilot, so it is read-only over the API. | Cases (Incidents) Support records shared with ticketing tools and product databases. | Smart Segments is specific to Autopilot and Cases (Incidents) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Journeys (Triggers) Automation journeys; a contact can be added to a journey via its trigger endpoint to start automated email or SMS sequences. | Quotes, Orders & Invoices Transaction documents reconciled with the ERP or billing source of truth. | Journeys (Triggers) is specific to Autopilot and Quotes, Orders & Invoices to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Lists Static contact lists; membership is readable per list and writable by adding or removing contacts. | Products Catalog records aligned with ERP item masters. | Lists is specific to Autopilot and Products to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Autopilot for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. No CDC.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Microsoft Dynamics 365 through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionMicrosoft Dynamics 365 pushes changes as they happen — webhook events backed by change data capture. Change data capture (CDC) via the Dynamics 365 Change Tracking feature.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Autopilot through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Autopilot–Microsoft Dynamics 365 connection.

Track your Autopilot ⇄ Microsoft Dynamics 365 sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365 with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365 objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Autopilot's Contacts and Activities), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Autopilot: No CDC; incremental sync polls the /contacts endpoint with bookmark cursor pagination and updated timestamps. Journey webhook actions can push specific contact events, but there is no general change-subscription webhook, so polling is the reliable path. On Microsoft Dynamics 365: Change data capture (CDC) via the Dynamics 365 Change Tracking feature; standard entities have change tracking enabled by default, custom entities require enabling "Track Changes" in Power Apps/Dataverse table properties. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
On the Autopilot side: Smart Segments, Journeys (Triggers), Activities, Contacts, plus custom fields where Autopilot exposes them. On the Microsoft Dynamics 365 side: Cases (Incidents), Quotes, Orders & Invoices, Products, Activities. Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Autopilot and Microsoft Dynamics 365: Where Autopilot classifies or scores: results land on the record; Where Autopilot generates text: drafts and summaries where the work happens; Every output routes back to the right record. Categories, sentiment, priority, or scores produced by Autopilot write back onto the matching record in Microsoft Dynamics 365, so the team acts on them in the tool they already use.
