Two-way sync
Changes in Attio or Hibob instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Attio and Hibob in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Attio runs on people as much as on accounts: every contact, deal, and account has an owner, and those owners are employees whose roles, teams, and status are held in Hibob. Hibob is the system of record for the workforce, from new hires to promotions to departures, and often for the candidates the business is still deciding on. When the two systems are connected only by re-keying or an overnight export, they drift apart, and the CRM ends up assigning accounts to people who have left, holding territories that no longer match the org chart, and waiting days to give a new rep access.
Stacksync syncs Custom objects, People, Companies, Users in Attio with Documents, Named lists, People (Employees), Employment in Hibob field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields, so Hibob stays authoritative on roles and org structure while Attio keeps ownership and territory current, and Stacksync resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
A person's name, title, email, phone, or manager corrected in either system updates the other, so both stop maintaining separate copies of the same individual.
A person recorded in Hibob, such as a candidate or applicant, can create or update the matching contact in Attio, so relationship history and outreach are not rebuilt from scratch when the same individual appears in both.
When Hibob records a new hire, a matching user or owner is created in Attio, so a new rep can start working accounts without waiting on a manual setup ticket.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Attio objects | Hibob objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deals Pipeline records; read out for revenue reporting and written to from automation. | People (Employees) Core employee records with out-of-the-box and custom fields; read via POST /people/search, created and updated through the /people endpoints. | Deals is specific to Attio and People (Employees) to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Workspaces Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Employment Historical table of job terms, contract, and working pattern under /people/{id}/employment; full CRUD, entries keyed by effectiveDate. | Workspaces is specific to Attio and Employment to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Custom objects Workspace-defined objects that behave like standard ones in the API. | Work Reporting line, department, site, and title under /people/{id}/work; drives the org chart and is synced two-way to directories. | Custom objects is specific to Attio and Work to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| People Standard person object; synced with marketing tools and warehouse person tables. | Salaries Compensation history at /people/{id}/salaries; full CRUD but gated behind the Payroll permission on the service user. | People is specific to Attio and Salaries to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Companies Standard company object; matched to billing and product accounts in two-way syncs. | Time off Absence requests and who's-out data via /timeoff/employees/{id}/requests and /timeoff/whosout; submit new requests and read balances. | Companies is specific to Attio and Time off to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Users Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Lifecycle Hire, termination, and leave status changes at /people/{id}/lifecycle; read-only and the source of lifecycle webhook events. | Users is specific to Attio and Lifecycle to Hibob — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionAttio notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks on record and list-entry events, with polling as a fallback.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Hibob through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionHibob notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks fire for employee created/updated/deleted, table-entry created/updated, time off, and lifecycle events.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Attio through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Pick the Attio and Hibob objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Attio and Hibob: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Attio's Deals and Workspaces), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Attio and Hibob: One directory of people; Where Hibob tracks people the business also engages: contacts stay in sync; New team members provisioned when they are hired. A person's name, title, email, phone, or manager corrected in either system updates the other, so both stop maintaining separate copies of the same individual.
Attio: REST API. Authentication: Guided in-app connection ("Attio CRM" connection created in a few clicks, "without any coding required"); the docs do not name the underlying auth mechanism (OAuth vs API key). Hibob: REST API (the Bob API). Authentication: Service User credentials over HTTP Basic auth (Base64-encoded serviceUserId:serviceUserToken); permissions granted per data category (People, Payroll, Documents) in Bob admin. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Attio: Docs do not document the authentication mechanism, change-detection method, or write/CDC/webhook behavior for Attio. Hibob: The API uses cursor-based pagination (pageSize up to 1000 with a next-cursor token); offset-based pagination is not supported. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Attio and Hibob without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Attio and Hibob records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Attio and Hibob connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Attio–Hibob integration in-house.
