Object catalog

What Stacksync syncs in VoltDB.

These objects sync between VoltDB and any connected system, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution. Custom fields are picked up from the live schema where VoltDB exposes them.

Partitioned Tables
Tables sharded across partitions by a partitioning column; the primary transactional store and sync target.
Replicated Tables
Small reference tables copied to every partition, a common landing spot for synced lookup data.
Stored Procedures
Precompiled transactional units that serve as the primary write interface.
Materialized Views
Synchronously maintained aggregates over tables, useful as pre-computed read sources.
Streams
Insert-only constructs that feed the export subsystem with committed rows.
Export Targets and Topics
Connectors that push committed data to external systems such as Kafka or JDBC sinks.
API surface

How Stacksync connects to VoltDB.

The connector runs on VoltDB's native API. Stacksync manages authentication, rate limits, retries, and schema changes so your team does not maintain integration code.

Connection
SQL over JDBC plus native client libraries and an HTTP/JSON interface
Authentication
Database credentials
Change detection
Export streams and topics push committed changes to configured targets; otherwise polling
Rate limits
No API rate limits; throughput is bounded by partition count and cluster sizing.

Use cases

What teams run on the VoltDB connector.

VoltDB, sold today as Volt Active Data, is bought by platform and application teams in telecom, financial services, and industrial IoT that need millisecond, ACID-consistent decisions at high throughput: fraud checks, 5G mediation, real-time personalization. It sits in the application hot path, in front of slower systems of record. State lives in memory in Partitioned and Replicated Tables, and the vendor's own pattern moves data downstream through Streams and Export Targets and Topics.

  1. Sync customer or account reference data from a CRM into VoltDB replicated tables for in-transaction lookups such as fraud or policy checks.

  2. Stream committed VoltDB results out through export targets into a warehouse for historical analysis.

  3. Keep product, plan, or entitlement state consistent between VoltDB and back-office systems.

  4. Push aggregates from VoltDB materialized views into dashboards or operational tools.

  5. Land events flowing through Streams and Export Targets and Topics into a warehouse or operational database for retention and offline analytics.

  6. Keep Replicated Tables of reference data such as pricing rules or customer tiers synced from an upstream system of record so real-time decisions use current values.

All VoltDB integrations

Pick the system you need to keep in sync with VoltDB. Each page covers the sync setup, field mapping, and common workflows for that pair.

How it works

Set up VoltDB in minutes, without APIs.

Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.

FAQ

VoltDB connector FAQ

What can I sync with the VoltDB connector?

VoltDB's core objects — Partitioned Tables, Replicated Tables, Stored Procedures, Materialized Views and custom fields — can sync with any of 302 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to VoltDB?

Via SQL over JDBC plus native client libraries and an HTTP/JSON interface, authenticated with Database credentials. Changes are detected as follows — export streams and topics push committed changes to configured targets; otherwise polling. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the VoltDB connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in VoltDB propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does a VoltDB integration take to set up?

Most VoltDB integrations go live in minutes: authenticate VoltDB and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is VoltDB data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. VoltDB data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
