Two-way sync
Changes in Pinecone or SAP Sales Cloud instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Pinecone and SAP Sales Cloud in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Pinecone turns data into something a revenue team can act on: scores, classifications, summaries, and embeddings. But the customers those results describe live in SAP Sales Cloud, where reps and marketers actually work. Intelligence that stays inside Pinecone rarely reaches the record where a decision gets made, and Pinecone is only as sharp as the data it sees, which is also held in SAP Sales Cloud.
Stacksync connects Indexes, Vectors (records), Namespaces, Collections in Pinecone to Individual Customers, Leads, Opportunities, Sales Quotes in SAP Sales Cloud with bi-directional, real-time sync. Records and fields from SAP Sales Cloud flow into Pinecone as the material it scores, indexes, or enriches, and the values Pinecone produces flow back onto the matching contact, account, or deal in SAP Sales Cloud, field by field, within seconds. There is no batch export in the middle and no glue code to maintain.
Because the mapping is field-level, you choose exactly which attributes cross and in which direction, so SAP Sales Cloud stays the record of the customer while Pinecone stays where the computation happens.
Categories, sentiment, or intent produced in Pinecone attach to the right contact, account, or deal in SAP Sales Cloud, keeping segmentation current as new data arrives.
Contacts, accounts, and notes from SAP Sales Cloud sync into Pinecone as they change, so embeddings or search stay aligned with the live CRM instead of a stale export.
Summaries, next steps, or drafted messages generated in Pinecone write back onto the account or deal in SAP Sales Cloud, next to the relationship they describe.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Pinecone objects | SAP Sales Cloud objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Backups Point-in-time snapshots of a serverless index; created, listed, and restored into a new index on the control plane for recovery or cloning. Read as a recovery-asset inventory. | Sales Quotes Quote documents often priced against ERP data and synced for order conversion. | Backups is specific to Pinecone and Sales Quotes to SAP Sales Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Index statistics Describe_index_stats returns total and per-namespace vector counts, the index dimension, and index fullness; read to size a sync and to detect drift between Pinecone and the source of truth. | Sales Orders Order records exchanged with S/4HANA or ECC in lead-to-cash flows. | Index statistics is specific to Pinecone and Sales Orders to SAP Sales Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Indexes Serverless or pod-based containers holding vectors of a fixed dimension and distance metric (cosine, dotproduct, euclidean); managed on the control plane (api.pinecone.io) via create, list, describe, configure, and delete. describe_index returns the per-index data-plane host. | Activities Appointments, tasks, and calls exported for engagement reporting. | Indexes is specific to Pinecone and Activities to SAP Sales Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Vectors (records) The core data: an id (up to 512 chars), a dense values array, optional sparse_values, and JSON metadata (up to 40 KB filterable per record). Full CRUD on the data plane via upsert, update, fetch, query, and delete, so write is supported here. | Products Sellable item records typically mastered in the ERP and synced in. | Vectors (records) is specific to Pinecone and Products to SAP Sales Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Namespaces Partitions inside an index; every read and write targets one namespace and vectors across namespaces are isolated. Enumerated with list_namespaces and sized per namespace via describe_index_stats. | Service Tickets Service requests synced with support tools where service scope is used. | Namespaces is specific to Pinecone and Service Tickets to SAP Sales Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Collections Immutable snapshots of a pod-based index that store its data but not its definition; created, listed, and deleted on the control plane and used to recreate a pod-based index. Serverless indexes use Backups instead. | Accounts Corporate customer records synced with ERP business partners and marketing tools. | Collections is specific to Pinecone and Accounts to SAP Sales Cloud — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Pinecone for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. No webhooks and no native change-data-capture feed.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to SAP Sales Cloud through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionSAP Sales Cloud notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling on last-changed timestamps.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Pinecone and SAP Sales Cloud: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Pinecone's Backups and Index statistics), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Pinecone and SAP Sales Cloud: Where Pinecone classifies or tags: labels sync onto the record; Where Pinecone indexes records for retrieval: SAP Sales Cloud keeps it fresh; Where Pinecone summarizes or drafts: text where reps read it. Categories, sentiment, or intent produced in Pinecone attach to the right contact, account, or deal in SAP Sales Cloud, keeping segmentation current as new data arrives.
Pinecone: Two HTTP APIs: a control plane at api.pinecone.io (manage indexes, collections, backups, and, via the Admin API, projects and API keys) and a per-index data plane at the host returned by describe_index (upsert, query, fetch, update, delete, list). A gRPC data-plane transport is available through the official SDKs. Authentication: API key in the Api-Key request header, scoped to one project; every request also sends an X-Pinecone-Api-Version header (date-based, e.g. 2025-10). The organization Admin API instead uses OAuth2 client-credentials (service accounts) via login.pinecone.io/oauth/token, passing a Bearer token to api.pinecone.io/admin (Enterprise). SAP Sales Cloud: OData API (v2) plus SOAP web services. Authentication: Basic auth or OAuth 2.0 (SAML bearer assertion). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Pinecone: Authentication is an Api-Key header scoped to a project plus a date-based X-Pinecone-Api-Version header; the organization Admin API uses OAuth2 service-account credentials (Bearer token) to manage projects and API keys. SAP Sales Cloud: SAP ships prepackaged integration content mapping CRM accounts and sales documents to S/4HANA and ECC business partners and orders, which sets the canonical field mappings most syncs follow. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Pinecone and SAP Sales Cloud without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Pinecone and SAP Sales Cloud records are not retained after a sync operation.
