Two-way sync
Changes in Notion or Zendesk instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Notion and Zendesk in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two tools in the daily stack often hold overlapping information: the same people, the same companies, or the same pieces of work, described twice. The tools do different jobs, so consolidating is not the answer; the overlap just needs to stop drifting.
Stacksync syncs Users, Comments, Files and attachments, Pages in Notion with Tickets Comments, Users, Organizations, Attachments in Zendesk in real time. You choose which records overlap, map the fields that should match, and pick a direction or let changes flow both ways. From then on, an update made in either tool is reflected in the other within seconds, without exports or copy-paste.
Because the sync is field-level, each tool keeps its own extras; only the shared data is held in agreement.
When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Contact and company details corrected in either tool update the other, so nobody works from the old version.
Payments, replies, messages, or tickets created in one tool can create or update matching records in the other, keeping context in one place.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Notion objects | Zendesk objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Users Workspace members and bots referenced by people properties; read-only — users cannot be created or invited through the API. | Users End users and agents; matched to CRM contacts to keep requester data consistent. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Databases / Data sources Collections of pages with a typed property schema. Since the 2025-09-03 API a database is a container holding one or more data sources; syncs target a specific data_source_id. | Ticket Forms Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Databases / Data sources is specific to Notion and Ticket Forms to Zendesk — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Properties Typed columns on a page — title, rich_text, number, select, multi_select, date, people, relation, status, checkbox, URL. Read and written both ways. | Tickets The central work object; synced to databases for SLA and volume reporting or mirrored into engineering tools. | Properties is specific to Notion and Tickets to Zendesk — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Blocks The page body — paragraphs, headings, to-dos, tables — nested as children and fetched recursively, separate from a page's properties. | Tickets Comments Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Blocks is specific to Notion and Tickets Comments to Zendesk — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Formula and Rollup properties Values computed by Notion from other fields; read-only, so they are pulled out for reporting but never written back. | Organizations Company groupings for users; typically kept aligned with CRM accounts. | Formula and Rollup properties is specific to Notion and Organizations to Zendesk — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Comments Page and inline discussion threads; can be read and created, useful for surfacing Notion activity in another system. | Attachments Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Comments is specific to Notion and Attachments to Zendesk — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionNotion notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Workspace webhooks (page.created, page.content_updated, data_source.schema_updated, comment.created.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Notion and Zendesk: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Notion's Users and Databases / Data sources), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Notion and Zendesk: Handoffs between teams; Where both tools track people or companies: one consistent record; Where one tool produces events: mirror them in the other. When work started in one tool continues in the other, the shared fields travel with it automatically.
Notion: REST API (api.notion.com/v1). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 for public integrations, or an internal integration secret (bearer token); every request must send a Notion-Version header. Zendesk: REST API. Authentication: OAuth app authorization: enter your Zendesk subdomain (from {sub_domain_name}.zendesk.com) in Stacksync Connections and click "Authorize App". Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Notion: The 2025-09-03 API version splits databases (containers) from data sources (tables); queries and syncs target a data_source_id, and one database can hold multiple data sources. Zendesk: The incremental export APIs are designed for replication, returning time-ordered changes with cursor pagination rather than requiring full-table scans. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Notion and Zendesk without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Notion and Zendesk records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Notion and Zendesk connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Notion–Zendesk integration in-house.
