Two-way sync
Changes in Nimble or Shopify instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Nimble and Shopify in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Two CRMs in one company is more common than anyone plans for: an acquisition brings its own system, regions or business units standardize differently, or a migration is under way and both are live. In every case, some of the same companies and people exist in both systems, and every day of manual double entry pushes the copies further apart.
Stacksync syncs Tasks, Activities, Notes, Tags in Nimble with Orders, Customers, Abandoned Checkouts, Products in Shopify in real time and in both directions, with field-level mapping and matching on identifiers you choose. Update a record in either CRM and the other reflects it within seconds.
Where each CRM serves a different team or region, sync just the shared accounts and contacts so handoffs and cross-sell work.
Deal stage and value on shared accounts stay visible from either CRM.
Keep both CRMs accurate while the merged team decides on a target system, instead of freezing one and losing months of updates.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Nimble objects | Shopify objects | |
|---|---|---|
| Custom fields Account-defined contact attributes that carry enrichment or internal identifiers | Abandoned Checkouts Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Contacts Person records with multi-value fields for email, phone, and social profiles; the primary sync entity | Products Catalog entries; often mastered in a PIM or ERP and written into Shopify. | |
| Companies Stored as contact records with a company record type, so they sync through the same contacts resource | ProductMedias Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Deals Pipeline records linked to contacts, synced to keep revenue systems aligned with sales activity | ProductVariants Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Tasks To-do items tied to contacts, mirrored into work-management tools or reporting tables | Orders Purchase transactions; pushed to ERPs for fulfillment and billing, and read into databases for reporting. | |
| Activities Calls, events, and interaction history used for engagement reporting outside Nimble | Customers Buyer records; matched to CRM contacts for marketing and lifetime-value analysis. |

Common patterns for Nimble and Shopify: Divisional or regional split; Where both track pipeline: deal visibility across systems; Post-acquisition consolidation. Where each CRM serves a different team or region, sync just the shared accounts and contacts so handoffs and cross-sell work.
Nimble: REST API (JSON). Authentication: API key; OAuth 2.0 available for registered applications. Shopify: GraphQL Admin API (primary) and REST Admin API (legacy). Authentication: OAuth via a custom Shopify app: admin creates an app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard, enables required API scopes, sets the Stacksync redirect URL, then supplies shop name + Client ID and Client Secret to Stacksync. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Nimble: Nimble auto-enriches contacts from social profiles and email signatures, so synced records can change without a user edit. Shopify: Webhook topics cover most resources, such as order creation and product updates, delivering event-driven change notifications over HTTPS. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Nimble and Shopify without custom code.
