Two-way sync
Changes in Eloqua or Nutshell instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Eloqua and Nutshell in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Nutshell owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Eloqua runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Notes, Products, Tags, Users in Nutshell with Accounts, Custom Data Objects, Activities, Campaigns in Eloqua field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — Nutshell can own account and opportunity status while Eloqua owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
When a contact or lead is created or edited in either system, the matching record appears or updates in the other, so campaigns reach real people and reps see who is already being marketed to.
Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Eloqua post back to the contact or account in Nutshell, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Eloqua objects | Nutshell objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activities Engagement events (email opens, clicks, form submits, bounces, page views, subscribes/unsubscribes) exported through the Bulk API activities export; read-only feed for scoring and attribution. | Activities Logged calls, meetings, and emails used for engagement reporting | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. | |
| Campaigns Multi-step campaign-canvas assets managed through the Application REST API; campaign membership and response data read out for attribution reporting. | Notes Free-text history attached to leads and contacts, replicated for a full timeline | Campaigns is specific to Eloqua and Notes to Nutshell — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Emails Email creative and email-group assets managed via the Application REST API; usually read for reporting rather than written by a sync. | Products Line items attached to leads, used to sync sold products into billing | Emails is specific to Eloqua and Products to Nutshell — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Forms and Form Submits Form definitions and their submission data, accessed through the Application REST API; submissions read out into a warehouse for lead capture and analysis. | Tags Segmentation labels mapped to lists or filters in downstream tools | Forms and Form Submits is specific to Eloqua and Tags to Nutshell — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contact Lists and Segments Shared lists (static) and segments (dynamic audiences); Contacts are added to or removed from shared lists based on lifecycle stage computed downstream. | Users Rep records used to resolve ownership when syncing assignments | Contact Lists and Segments is specific to Eloqua and Users to Nutshell — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Contacts Core person records, keyed on email address as the unique identifier; imported/exported via the Bulk API and upserted on email, synced two-way with CRM, warehouse, and app databases. | Leads Nutshell's deal object; synced as the pipeline record linked to people and companies | Contacts is specific to Eloqua and Leads to Nutshell — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Eloqua for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling via Bulk API exports filtered on a contact/account modified-date field using EML filter syntax.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Nutshell through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionNutshell notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhook subscriptions for record events, with polling as fallback.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Eloqua and Nutshell: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Eloqua's Activities and Campaigns), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Nutshell: Nutshell's most full-featured API is JSON-RPC: each call names a method such as findLeads or editLead instead of hitting resource URLs, though a newer REST API is also available. Eloqua: Contact records are keyed on email address; imports upsert against email as the default match key, so records without a valid email cannot be matched. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Eloqua and Nutshell without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Eloqua and Nutshell records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Eloqua and Nutshell connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Eloqua–Nutshell integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Eloqua and Nutshell. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Eloqua: Polling via Bulk API exports filtered on a contact/account modified-date field using EML filter syntax; no general-purpose record-change webhook. On Nutshell: Webhook subscriptions for record events, with polling as fallback. Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
