Two-way sync
Changes in Clari or Success Factors instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Clari and Success Factors in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Clari runs on people as much as on accounts: every contact, deal, and account has an owner, and those owners are employees whose roles, teams, and status are held in Success Factors. Success Factors is the system of record for the workforce, from new hires to promotions to departures, and often for the candidates the business is still deciding on. When the two systems are connected only by re-keying or an overnight export, they drift apart, and the CRM ends up assigning accounts to people who have left, holding territories that no longer match the org chart, and waiting days to give a new rep access.
Stacksync syncs Opportunity field extensions, Audit Events, Forecast, Quota in Clari with Position, PerEmail and PerPhone, User, PerPerson in Success Factors field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields, so Success Factors stays authoritative on roles and org structure while Clari keeps ownership and territory current, and Stacksync resolves conflicts by the rules you set.
A person's name, title, email, phone, or manager corrected in either system updates the other, so both stop maintaining separate copies of the same individual.
A person recorded in Success Factors, such as a candidate or applicant, can create or update the matching contact in Clari, so relationship history and outreach are not rebuilt from scratch when the same individual appears in both.
When Success Factors records a new hire, a matching user or owner is created in Clari, so a new rep can start working accounts without waiting on a manual setup ticket.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Clari objects | Success Factors objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activity (Capture) Meetings, emails, and attachments captured by Clari and mapped to accounts and opportunities; exported read-only via async activity jobs. | Position Position Management records for headcount and requisition planning; synced with an ATS or ERP to keep positions and reqs aligned. | Activity (Capture) is specific to Clari and Position to Success Factors — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Account field extensions External data points written onto Account records through the ingest API in initial or incremental mode; requires an apikey plus a partnerkey. | PerEmail and PerPhone Contact sub-entities under PerPerson; synced two-way with a directory or comms system to keep worker contact data current. | Account field extensions is specific to Clari and PerEmail and PerPhone to Success Factors — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunity field extensions Warehouse-computed fields pushed onto Opportunity records via the ingest API; up to 100 records per request or 10MB bulk files. | User Core identity/User entity behind role-based permissions; a model distinct from Employee Central, synced two-way with a directory or IdP and downstream apps. | Opportunity field extensions is specific to Clari and User to Success Factors — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Audit Events User edits and system events exported with filtering by actor, session, and date range; read-only feed for change tracking and compliance. | PerPerson Person-level container in Employee Central holding biographical data; effective-dated child entities (PerPersonal, PerEmail, PerPhone) hang off it. | Audit Events is specific to Clari and PerPerson to Success Factors — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Forecast Exported per forecast tab and fiscal period via async jobs; includes submitted forecast calls, updates, manager adjustments, and CRM totals. Read-only. | EmpEmployment Employment record tying a person to an employment period (hire, service dates); carries lastModifiedDateTime used for incremental polling. | Forecast is specific to Clari and EmpEmployment to Success Factors — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Quota Quota and quota-history values exported alongside forecast data, scoped by fiscal quarter; read-only, useful for warehouse attainment reporting. | EmpJob Effective-dated job info: position, department, manager, FTE, pay grade, cost center; the most-synced record for downstream HR and provisioning. | Quota is specific to Clari and EmpJob to Success Factors — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Clari for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling — reads run as asynchronous export jobs (submit export, poll job status, download results).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Success Factors through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionSuccess Factors notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling on each entity's lastModifiedDateTime / lastModifiedOn (effective-dated entities require date-range handling).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Clari through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Pick the Clari and Success Factors objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Clari and Success Factors: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Clari's Activity (Capture) and Account field extensions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Clari and Success Factors: One directory of people; Where Success Factors tracks people the business also engages: contacts stay in sync; New team members provisioned when they are hired. A person's name, title, email, phone, or manager corrected in either system updates the other, so both stop maintaining separate copies of the same individual.
Clari: REST APIs on api.clari.com - Export API (v4, asynchronous bulk jobs for forecast, quota, activity, and audit) and Ingest API (v2, field extensions); Opportunity reads are synchronous via GET /opportunity. Authentication: API token in the apikey header, generated per user in Settings; ingest/partner endpoints also require a partnerkey header, and Copilot endpoints require X-Api-Key and X-Api-Password. Success Factors: OData V2 and V4 REST APIs (plus legacy SFAPI / Compound Employee SOAP API). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 SAML Bearer Assertion — register an OAuth client for an API key (used as client_id), then exchange a signed SAML assertion for a short-lived access token; legacy HTTP Basic auth is being retired. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Clari: Clari is a forecasting/RevOps layer on top of the CRM (usually Salesforce), which stays the opportunity system of record; Clari's own opportunity endpoint is read-only. Success Factors: Intelligent Services outbound events are limited to a standard catalog (e.g. Employee Hire, Termination) — custom event webhooks are not supported — so most incremental sync relies on lastModifiedDateTime polling. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Clari and Success Factors without custom code.
