Two-way sync
Changes in Clari or Okta instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Clari and Okta in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
A CRM and an identity system usually describe different populations. Clari tracks customers, contacts, and the deals in motion; Okta governs who is allowed to sign in and what they can reach. Where the two meet is people. The reps who own records in Clari are the same employees Okta provisions and disables, and when Okta also runs the login accounts for your product, the customers in Clari are the same users Okta authenticates. Left unconnected, a departure in Okta leaves stale ownership sitting in Clari, and a signup in Okta never reaches the account it belongs to.
Stacksync syncs Forecast, Quota, Opportunities, Activity (Capture) in Clari with Policies, System Log, Devices, Users in Okta in real time and in both directions, matching on email or an external ID and mapping field by field. You decide which system owns which fields, and new users, role and group changes, deactivations, and account status move within seconds instead of waiting on a quarterly access review or a manual export.
A won or activated customer in Clari can create or update the corresponding user or account in Okta, so provisioning starts from the CRM record instead of a separate ticket.
New employees in Okta become active users in Clari with the right role, and group or department changes update their access and team, so the CRM's user list matches the directory without an admin re-keying it.
When someone is disabled in Okta, the matching user in Clari is deactivated too, and the accounts, contacts, and deals they owned are flagged for reassignment, so nothing goes unattended after they leave.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Clari objects | Okta objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account field extensions External data points written onto Account records through the ingest API in initial or incremental mode; requires an apikey plus a partnerkey. | Users Universal Directory user records with profile attributes, credentials, and lifecycle status (staged, active, suspended, deprovisioned); full CRUD, so users are created, updated, activated, and deactivated to match an HR or identity source. | Account field extensions is specific to Clari and Users to Okta — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunity field extensions Warehouse-computed fields pushed onto Opportunity records via the ingest API; up to 100 records per request or 10MB bulk files. | Groups Okta groups (OKTA_GROUP, APP_GROUP, BUILT_IN) and their memberships; OKTA_GROUP records and membership are written to drive app and resource access. | Opportunity field extensions is specific to Clari and Groups to Okta — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Audit Events User edits and system events exported with filtering by actor, session, and date range; read-only feed for change tracking and compliance. | Applications App integrations (SAML, OIDC, SWA) with per-user and per-group assignments; read and updated to manage which identities can reach each downstream app. | Audit Events is specific to Clari and Applications to Okta — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Forecast Exported per forecast tab and fiscal period via async jobs; includes submitted forecast calls, updates, manager adjustments, and CRM totals. Read-only. | Group Rules Dynamic rules that add users to groups from profile attributes; read and written to automate access based on department, title, or location. | Forecast is specific to Clari and Group Rules to Okta — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Quota Quota and quota-history values exported alongside forecast data, scoped by fiscal quarter; read-only, useful for warehouse attainment reporting. | Factors (Authenticators) MFA enrollments per user (Okta Verify, WebAuthn, SMS, email); read for security-posture reporting and reset when a device is lost or rotated. | Quota is specific to Clari and Factors (Authenticators) to Okta — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunities Retrieved synchronously by ID from GET /opportunity (up to 100 IDs per call) with Clari CRM scoring and field-change history; read-only, mirroring the CRM opportunity Clari sits on. | Policies Sign-on, password, and authenticator-enrollment policies with their rules; read to audit access controls or updated to manage them centrally. | Opportunities is specific to Clari and Policies to Okta — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Clari for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling — reads run as asynchronous export jobs (submit export, poll job status, download results).
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Okta through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionOkta notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Event Hooks send an HTTPS POST to a subscribed endpoint on events such as user.lifecycle.create and group.user_membership.add (after a one-time.

Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Clari and Okta: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Clari's Account field extensions and Opportunity field extensions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Clari: REST APIs on api.clari.com - Export API (v4, asynchronous bulk jobs for forecast, quota, activity, and audit) and Ingest API (v2, field extensions); Opportunity reads are synchronous via GET /opportunity. Authentication: API token in the apikey header, generated per user in Settings; ingest/partner endpoints also require a partnerkey header, and Copilot endpoints require X-Api-Key and X-Api-Password. Okta: REST API (Okta Management API, /api/v1) with Event Hooks for outbound events and the System Log API as the change feed. Authentication: SSWS API tokens (Authorization: SSWS {token}) scoped to the creating admin's permissions, or OAuth 2.0 for Okta service apps using a private-key-JWT client-credentials grant with granular scopes (DPoP supported). Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Clari: Clari is a forecasting/RevOps layer on top of the CRM (usually Salesforce), which stays the opportunity system of record; Clari's own opportunity endpoint is read-only. Okta: Rate limits are per org and per endpoint and vary by edition; the System Log endpoint is limited to roughly 120 requests per minute, and a concurrent-transaction cap (default 75) can return HTTP 429 independently of the per-minute limit. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Clari and Okta without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Clari and Okta records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Clari and Okta connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Clari–Okta integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Clari and Okta. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
