BigQuery: GoogleSQL via the BigQuery REST API, client libraries, JDBC/ODBC drivers, and the Storage Read/Write APIs. Authentication: Google Cloud service account: create a dedicated service account, grant roles (BigQuery Data Editor, BigQuery Job User, Cloud Functions Service Agent, Cloud Run Developer, Eventarc Event Receiver. Sysaid: REST API (JSON). Authentication: Client-credentials app keys: an application key (clientId/clientSecret) is created via /v1/application-keys, then exchanged at /v1/access-tokens for a bearer token (default 24h, up to 30 days); an x-sysaid-accountid header scopes the account. Legacy V0 uses session-cookie login. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Sysaid: List endpoints are paginated with a limit parameter, so full syncs must page through large result sets rather than pulling everything in one call. BigQuery: Views and materialized views are not supported — only tables. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between BigQuery and Sysaid without custom code.
