Azure SQL Database: SQL wire protocol (TDS), the same protocol as SQL Server; T-SQL over standard drivers. Authentication: SQL authentication (database credentials) or Microsoft Entra ID authentication. Iterable: Iterable REST API (JSON over HTTPS): Users, Events, Campaigns, Templates, Lists, Catalogs, and Commerce endpoints, plus a bulk Export API for historical data.
