Apache Kylin: SQL over JDBC/ODBC plus a REST API for queries and administration. Authentication: Username/password (HTTP basic authentication on the REST API). Keys are scoped by type - Server-side, JavaScript (Web SDK), or Mobile - with optional JWT-enabled keys. US projects use api.iterable.com; EU projects use api.eu.iterable.com. Apache Kylin: Data enters Kylin through batch build jobs from upstream sources such as Hive; there is no row-level write API for external systems. Iterable: US and EU projects live on separate data centers: api.iterable.com (USDC) versus api.eu.iterable.com (EDC), and a project's key only works against its own region.
