Real-time sync
Changes in Apache Kylin or Gainsight instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Apache Kylin and Gainsight in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Apache Kylin is a read-only source: Stacksync reads its data in real time and delivers it into Gainsight, so Gainsight always reflects the current state of Apache Kylin — without exports, scripts, or schedulers.
Whatever Gainsight is used for, it accumulates data the rest of the company wants to analyze, and that data usually sits behind an API rather than in the warehouse. Building and babysitting an extraction pipeline is the tax most teams pay for it.
Segments, scores, or reference values computed in Apache Kylin sync back onto records in Gainsight, putting analysis where the work happens.
A continuously synced copy in Apache Kylin preserves a queryable record even as data ages out of Gainsight or gets changed inside it.
Records and events from Gainsight land in Apache Kylin as queryable tables, current within seconds and ready to join with the rest of the warehouse.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Apache Kylin objects | Gainsight objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Models Star-schema definitions over source tables that determine what can be queried. | Company Customer/account master in Gainsight CS; two-way synced with CRM and warehouse customer tables to keep ARR, owner, and renewal fields aligned. | Models is specific to Apache Kylin and Company to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Cubes / Indexes Pre-computed aggregate structures that answer queries at low latency. | Person (People) Contacts associated to companies through the Company Person junction; synced two-way with CRM contacts and warehouse person records. | Cubes / Indexes is specific to Apache Kylin and Person (People) to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Source Tables Hive or other upstream tables that builds read from. | Relationship Sub-units within a company for multi-product or multi-team accounts; synced so each maps to the right contract in billing or an ERP. | Source Tables is specific to Apache Kylin and Relationship to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Segments Time-ranged build units that partition pre-computed data. | CTA (Call to Action) Risk and expansion alerts that drive CSM plays; often synced to ticketing or project tools so follow-up work is tracked where teams operate. | Segments is specific to Apache Kylin and CTA (Call to Action) to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Build Jobs Batch jobs that compute or refresh segments, monitored via the REST API. | Scorecard Fact Health scores and measures per Company or Relationship; usage metrics from a warehouse are written in so scores reflect live telemetry. | Build Jobs is specific to Apache Kylin and Scorecard Fact to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Projects Top-level workspaces that group models, tables, and jobs. | Timeline Activity Logged calls, emails, and notes; usually read out into a reporting database for QBR and churn analysis. | Projects is specific to Apache Kylin and Timeline Activity to Gainsight — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls Apache Kylin for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Data freshness follows segment build and refresh jobs, so integrations poll query results.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Gainsight through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionStacksync polls Gainsight for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Polling on the ModifiedDate (GS Modified Date) system field, which is filterable and sortable on every object.
DeliveryApache Kylin does not accept inbound record writes, so this direction carries requests rather than records: Apache Kylin's output flows back as field updates on the originating Gainsight records.
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Apache Kylin–Gainsight connection.
Changes in Apache Kylin or Gainsight instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Apache Kylin or Gainsight data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Apache Kylin or Gainsight record.
Track your Apache Kylin ⇄ Gainsight sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Apache Kylin and Gainsight.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Apache Kylin and Gainsight with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Apache Kylin and Gainsight objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time integration between Apache Kylin and Gainsight — Apache Kylin is a read-only source, so data flows from it into the other system: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync, map fields visually, and changes propagate in milliseconds — no code required.
Apache Kylin: SQL over JDBC/ODBC plus a REST API for queries and administration. Authentication: Username/password (HTTP basic authentication on the REST API). Gainsight: REST APIs (per-object) and asynchronous Bulk REST API. Authentication: API access key passed in the 'accesskey' request header (non-expiring), generated by a Gainsight admin; M2M OAuth (Client ID/Secret) is also supported. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Gainsight: Large backfills should use the asynchronous Bulk API (CSV insert/update), which is limited to 10 calls/hour and 100/day, rather than the synchronous per-object REST endpoints. Apache Kylin: Data enters Kylin through batch build jobs from upstream sources such as Hive; there is no row-level write API for external systems. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Apache Kylin and Gainsight without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Apache Kylin and Gainsight records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Apache Kylin and Gainsight connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Apache Kylin–Gainsight integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Apache Kylin and Gainsight. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
