Why teams connect Agiloft and Odoo

Bridge the tools people work in and the system the business runs on: real-time, two-way sync between Agiloft and Odoo.

The ERP holds the records the business is run on, and it is rarely where day-to-day work happens. Agiloft is closer to the work, and the two often need the same facts about the same people, organizations, and transactions. Bridging them by hand, or by nightly file transfer, leaves each side out of date for hours at a time.

Stacksync syncs Companies, People, Attachments, Approvals in Agiloft with Employees (hr.employee), Projects and Tasks (project.project / project.task), Contacts (res.partner), Sales Orders (sale.order) in Odoo bi-directionally and in real time, with field-level mapping and rules for which system wins on conflict. Changes made where the work happens reach the system of record within seconds, and the reverse.

Common use cases

  • 01 Two-way sync Contracts between Agiloft and an ERP or warehouse so value, renewal dates, and status stay current without manual re-keying.
  • 02 Push generated documents and executed PDFs into Agiloft Attachments from a document system, or pull signed contracts out for archival.
  • 03 Push e-commerce orders into Odoo as sales orders and sync fulfillment status back.
  • 04 Mirror invoices and journal entries into a warehouse for consolidated financial reporting across entities.

Common sync patterns

Where Odoo is the HR or people system of record

Worker and organization data from Odoo stays current in Agiloft, so the tools people use daily reflect the org as it actually is.

Master data corrections travel

A customer, supplier, or contact detail corrected in either system updates the other, ending duplicate maintenance.

Where Agiloft faces customers and Odoo carries account records

Order, invoice, or account status from Odoo appears alongside the customer in Agiloft, so front-line teams answer from live data.

What you can sync between Agiloft and Odoo

Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.

Agiloft objects Odoo objects How this pairing syncs
Attachments File records holding the executed contract PDFs and supporting documents linked to a contract; read to pull signed files out, or written to push generated documents in. Employees (hr.employee) HR records read for directory and provisioning syncs. Attachments is specific to Agiloft and Employees (hr.employee) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Approvals Per-record approval instances generated from Approval Templates and Workflows; read to report approval status and cycle time, or written to trigger and record decisions. Projects and Tasks (project.project / project.task) Work items synced with external project tools. Approvals is specific to Agiloft and Projects and Tasks (project.project / project.task) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Tasks Assigned action items with owners, due dates, and states tied to contracts or projects; synced two-way to surface Agiloft work inside a PM or operations system. Contacts (res.partner) The unified person/company record used across sales, invoicing, and purchasing; the anchor for CRM syncs. Tasks is specific to Agiloft and Contacts (res.partner) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Clause Library Reusable, approved contract clauses with metadata and categories; read to feed clause content into other systems or reporting, or maintained from an external source of truth. Sales Orders (sale.order) Quotations and confirmed orders synced with e-commerce and external CRMs. Clause Library is specific to Agiloft and Sales Orders (sale.order) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Custom tables Agiloft is a no-code platform, so any customer-built table (NDAs, SOWs, vendor risk, renewals) exposes the same REST and SOAP CRUD and syncs like the standard CLM tables. Invoices (account.move) Customer invoices and journal entries synced with accounting and reporting tools. Custom tables is specific to Agiloft and Invoices (account.move) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.
Contracts The core table holding contract records with value, key dates, status, type, and linked parties; created and updated two-way so contract data moves between Agiloft and a database, ERP, or CRM. Products (product.template / product.product) Catalog and variant data distributed to storefronts and quoting tools. Contracts is specific to Agiloft and Products (product.template / product.product) to Odoo — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side.

How changes propagate between Agiloft and Odoo

Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.

Agiloft Odoo Sub-second propagation

DetectionAgiloft notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Native webhook subscriptions (POST /ewws/webhooks) fire on record create, edit, or delete after a GET handshake verifies the callback URL.

DeliveryEach detected change is written to Odoo through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Odoo Agiloft Sub-second propagation

DetectionOdoo notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Polling on the write_date timestamp every record carries.

DeliveryEach detected change is written to Agiloft through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Rate-limit considerations

  • Agiloft: Agiloft publishes no fixed per-minute REST quota; throughput is instance-specific and bounded by license seats (Assigned/Floating Power User) and concurrent API sessions. Each SOAP/EWS call runs in its own transaction, and REST logins issue a session token meant to be reused rather than re-authenticated per call.
  • Odoo: Self-hosted instances have no fixed rate limits; Odoo Online is subject to the platform's fair-use limits.
