Two-way sync
Changes in Affinity or Cvent instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Affinity and Cvent in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Affinity owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Cvent runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Interactions, Reminders, Lists, List Entries in Affinity with Exhibitors, Surveys, Budgets, Events in Cvent field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — Affinity can own account and opportunity status while Cvent owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
New leads or responders captured in Cvent flow into Affinity assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
When a contact or lead is created or edited in either system, the matching record appears or updates in the other, so campaigns reach real people and reps see who is already being marketed to.
Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Cvent post back to the contact or account in Affinity, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Affinity objects | Cvent objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reminders Follow-up tasks associated with people and organizations. | Speakers Speaker records tied to an event; synced two-way with a speaker database or CMS, with an updatedDate on each record for incremental pulls. | Reminders is specific to Affinity and Speakers to Cvent — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Lists Pipelines (deal flow, fundraising, portfolio) that structure most Affinity data; syncs usually target a specific list. | Exhibitors Exhibitor and sponsor records; synced to a CRM or database to track booth, sponsorship, and lead-capture data per event. | Lists is specific to Affinity and Exhibitors to Cvent — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| List Entries The membership of a person, organization, or opportunity on a list, carrying its list-specific fields. | Surveys Survey definitions and responses; read out to a warehouse for post-event feedback analysis alongside attendance data. | List Entries is specific to Affinity and Surveys to Cvent — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Persons Contact records enriched with relationship intelligence, synced with CRMs and outreach tools. | Budgets Event budget line items; read into a finance database or ERP to reconcile planned versus actual event spend. | Persons is specific to Affinity and Budgets to Cvent — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Organizations Company records matched to accounts in other systems by domain. | Events Top-level event containers created and updated through the Events endpoints; read out for reporting and written to provision events from an external system. | Organizations is specific to Affinity and Events to Cvent — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Opportunities Deal records tracked on lists and synced with pipeline reporting. | Contacts Account-wide people database spanning every event; synced two-way with a CRM or warehouse as the shared audience source of truth via the Create Contacts endpoint. | Opportunities is specific to Affinity and Contacts to Cvent — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionAffinity notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhook subscriptions for record events, supplemented by polling.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Cvent through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionCvent notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Per-event webhooks push attendee, registration, session, and speaker changes.

Trigger automated workflows whenever Affinity or Cvent data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Affinity or Cvent record.
Track your Affinity ⇄ Cvent sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Affinity and Cvent.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Affinity and Cvent with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Affinity and Cvent objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Affinity and Cvent: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Affinity's Reminders and Lists), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Affinity and Cvent: Where Cvent generates leads: hand-off without re-keying; New and updated people stay in step; Where Cvent captures engagement: activity lands on the record. New leads or responders captured in Cvent flow into Affinity assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
Affinity: REST API. Authentication: API key. Cvent: Cvent REST API (JSON over HTTPS at api-platform.cvent.com/ea, paginated list endpoints). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials flow: a client ID and secret are Basic-auth exchanged for a 60-minute bearer token at api-platform.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token; legacy API-key and SOAP/CSN auth are deprecated. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Affinity: Affinity captures email and calendar interactions automatically, so much of its activity data is generated rather than manually entered. Cvent: Rate limits are tiered (Free at 1,000 calls/day up to Premium at 500,000 calls/day) and enforced both per-second and as a daily quota that resets at midnight UTC, returning 429 on exhaustion. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Affinity and Cvent without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Affinity and Cvent records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Affinity and Cvent connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Affinity–Cvent integration in-house.
