Two-way sync
Changes in Recurly or Seismic instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Recurly and Seismic in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Finance and sales describe the same customers in different systems. Seismic knows the relationship: who the contacts are and what is in motion with the account. Recurly knows the money: what was invoiced, what was paid, what is overdue. When the two are connected only by exports, each side works partly blind.
Stacksync links Plans, Invoices, Transactions, Line Items in Recurly to Library Content, Content Versions, Users, User Groups in Seismic with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, updated billing details, invoice status, and payment activity move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. The result is one version of each customer, visible from both sides.
A won opportunity creates or updates the customer in Recurly with the right billing details, so invoicing starts without re-keying.
Invoice and payment status from Recurly appears on the account in Seismic, so reps see overdue balances before they promise the next order.
When a contact or address is corrected in Seismic, Recurly gets the update before the next invoice goes out.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Recurly objects | Seismic objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invoices Charge and credit billing documents; read-heavy for revenue reporting, and creatable through Purchases for one-off charges. | Teamsites Tenant-scoped workspace partitions organizing Library content, permissions, and config; scoped by teamSiteId on most content calls. | Invoices is specific to Recurly and Teamsites to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Transactions Individual payment attempts — captures, refunds, and voids; typically read into a warehouse for reconciliation and dunning analysis. | LiveSend Links Trackable content-share links created via the engagement API; their open and view engagement is read back through Reporting. | Transactions is specific to Recurly and LiveSend Links to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Line Items One-time charges and credits on an account outside a subscription; synced for accurate revenue and adjustment reporting. | Digital Sales Rooms Buyer-facing microsites (DSRs); lifecycle and content-change events surface via webhooks, currently marked Early Access. | Line Items is specific to Recurly and Digital Sales Rooms to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Coupons and Redemptions Discount definitions and their application to accounts and subscriptions; read for discount and promotion analysis. | Reporting Activities Content-interaction, engagement, and usage analytics extracted read-only through the ETL-oriented Reporting API v2 for a warehouse. | Coupons and Redemptions is specific to Recurly and Reporting Activities to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Billing Info Tokenized payment method (card/ACH) on an account; written when onboarding customers and read for payment-health signals (never stores raw card numbers). | Library Content Documents, decks, and assets stored in teamsites; created, moved, and retrieved via the Content Management API, each with a contentId. | Billing Info is specific to Recurly and Library Content to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Measured Units and Usage Metered-billing units; usage records are posted to a subscription before each bill run for consumption-based pricing. | Content Versions Version history for a library item; new versions upload via API and old ones expire, with events firing on ContentManager webhooks. | Measured Units and Usage is specific to Recurly and Content Versions to Seismic — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionRecurly notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Webhooks (JSON or XML, one format per endpoint) for account, subscription, payment, and invoice events, plus incremental polling of list endpoints.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Seismic through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Recurly–Seismic connection.
Changes in Recurly or Seismic instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Recurly or Seismic data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Recurly or Seismic record.
Track your Recurly ⇄ Seismic sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Recurly and Seismic.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Recurly and Seismic with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Recurly and Seismic objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Recurly and Seismic: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Recurly's Invoices and Transactions), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Recurly: Rate limits default to 1,000 requests/min on production (only GET requests count) and 400/min on sandbox (all requests count), measured over a sliding 5-minute window; breaches return HTTP 429. Seismic: Rate limits are enforced per tier over a rolling 60-second window; exceeding them returns HTTP 429 with an indication of when to retry. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Recurly and Seismic without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Recurly and Seismic records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Recurly and Seismic connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Recurly–Seismic integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Recurly and Seismic. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
Change detection on Recurly: Webhooks (JSON or XML, one format per endpoint) for account, subscription, payment, and invoice events, plus incremental polling of list endpoints sorted by updated_at with begin_time/end_time filters. On Seismic: Webhooks for content, version, user, group, workflow, DSR, and LiveSend events; the Reporting API v2 is polled for batch historical extracts (ETL-oriented, not high-frequency). Each detected change propagates to the other side in milliseconds, with field-level conflict resolution and an inspectable event log.
