Two-way sync
Changes in Notion or Zuora instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Notion and Zuora in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Zuora holds the financial truth: who the customers are, what they were billed, what they paid. Notion is where part of the day-to-day work happens, and that work often involves the same customers and transactions. Without a live connection, the two drift apart, and people end up answering questions from stale copies.
Stacksync keeps Rate Plan and Rate Plan Charge, Product and Product Rate Plan (Product Catalog), Invoice, Payment in Zuora and Blocks, Formula and Rollup properties, Users, Comments in Notion in sync, bi-directionally and in real time. Whatever records Notion keeps and whatever events it produces, the overlap with Zuora is mapped field by field, and a change on either side shows up on the other within seconds.
There is no middleware to build, no API rate limits to babysit, and no nightly job that leaves the morning running on yesterday's data.
A customer's details updated in either system update the other, so finance and the rest of the business stop maintaining two versions of the same customer.
Front-line teams see invoice and payment status from Zuora next to the customer they are helping, without logging into the finance system.
Payment and charge activity flows into Zuora as it happens, so the books reflect reality without manual reconciliation.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Notion objects | Zuora objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Comments Page and inline discussion threads; can be read and created, useful for surfacing Notion activity in another system. | Order and Amendment Records of subscription create and change actions; written to Zuora to drive quote-to-cash and read for subscription change history. | Comments is specific to Notion and Order and Amendment to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Files and attachments File-property and file-block values. Notion-hosted URLs are temporary and expire, so files are re-fetched or copied at sync time. | Account (Billing Account) The customer billing entity holding contacts, payment methods, and billing settings; synced two-way as the parent record most other Zuora objects hang off. | Files and attachments is specific to Notion and Account (Billing Account) to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Pages The core content unit and also every row of a database; synced two-way as records, with typed properties mapping to table columns. | Subscription Recurring or usage-based subscription tied to an Account; read for revenue state and written when provisioning or changing plans from a CRM or app. | Pages is specific to Notion and Subscription to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Databases / Data sources Collections of pages with a typed property schema. Since the 2025-09-03 API a database is a container holding one or more data sources; syncs target a specific data_source_id. | Rate Plan and Rate Plan Charge The priced components inside a Subscription; synced so charge amounts, quantities, and effective dates stay aligned with the source system. | Databases / Data sources is specific to Notion and Rate Plan and Rate Plan Charge to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Properties Typed columns on a page — title, rich_text, number, select, multi_select, date, people, relation, status, checkbox, URL. Read and written both ways. | Product and Product Rate Plan (Product Catalog) The catalog of sellable products and their pricing; usually mastered elsewhere and written into Zuora, or read to map subscription charges. | Properties is specific to Notion and Product and Product Rate Plan (Product Catalog) to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Blocks The page body — paragraphs, headings, to-dos, tables — nested as children and fetched recursively, separate from a page's properties. | Invoice Billing documents generated from rate plan charges and order line items; typically read out into an ERP or GL for revenue recognition and reconciliation. | Blocks is specific to Notion and Invoice to Zuora — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionNotion notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Workspace webhooks (page.created, page.content_updated, data_source.schema_updated, comment.created.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Zuora through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Notion and Zuora: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Notion's Comments and Files and attachments), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Notion: REST API (api.notion.com/v1). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 for public integrations, or an internal integration secret (bearer token); every request must send a Notion-Version header. Zuora: REST API (v1) with Object Query, Data Query, and AQuA bulk export; legacy SOAP API also available. Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client credentials (bearer token, 3600s expiry); access is governed by the Zuora role of the OAuth client's associated user, with no granular scopes. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Zuora: Concurrency limits apply per tenant: 40 concurrent requests by default, 80 for Object Queries, and 200 for high-volume operations, each doubled for Performance Booster; breaching them returns HTTP 429. Notion: Every page, block, database, and data source is keyed by a UUID; there is no per-record numeric ID. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Notion and Zuora without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Notion and Zuora records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Notion and Zuora connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Notion–Zuora integration in-house.
