Rate-limit considerations

  • Notion: Average of ~3 requests/second per integration with some bursts; 429 with a Retry-After header when exceeded. Payloads capped at 500 KB and 1000 block elements.
  • Rabbitmq: No fixed API request quota; the broker applies TCP back-pressure (flow control), per-consumer prefetch (QoS) limits, and blocks publishers when memory or disk alarms trip.
