Two-way sync
Changes in Demandbase or HubSpot instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Demandbase and HubSpot in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
HubSpot owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Demandbase runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Line Item, Product, Ticket, Quote in HubSpot with Change Subscriptions, Accounts, Opportunities, People (Persons) in Demandbase field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — HubSpot can own account and opportunity status while Demandbase owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Where Demandbase builds lists, segments, or ad audiences, membership tracks the fields and stage owned in HubSpot, so who receives a campaign reflects current pipeline reality instead of a stale export.
New leads or responders captured in Demandbase flow into HubSpot assigned and deduplicated, so nothing sits in a marketing list waiting for someone to export it.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Demandbase objects | HubSpot objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activities Engagement and custom activity records (web, campaign, intent); exported via Data Export and pushed in through the Data Import API using custom activity types. | Company Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Activities is specific to Demandbase and Company to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Campaigns Marketing campaign records and creative assets exported through the Data Export API; read-only reporting feed. | Deal Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Campaigns is specific to Demandbase and Deal to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Account & Person Lists (Audiences) Named account and person segments exported via Data Export; custom audiences pushed into Demandbase through the Data Import API. Read and write. | Line Item Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Account & Person Lists (Audiences) is specific to Demandbase and Line Item to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Company Details (B2B enrichment) Firmographics, technographics, competitors, and corporate family tree fetched by domain or name via the B2B Company Search and Details endpoints; read-only enrichment. | Product Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Company Details (B2B enrichment) is specific to Demandbase and Product to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Change Subscriptions Company firmographic, company news, family-tree (ownership), and DB person employment subscriptions delivered as webhook alerts with a signing secret; the real-time change feed. | Ticket Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Change Subscriptions is specific to Demandbase and Ticket to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Accounts Company/account records with firmographics, intent, and Demandbase qualification and engagement scores; exported via the Data Export API and imported or updated via the Data Import API. | Quote Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | Accounts is specific to Demandbase and Quote to HubSpot — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionDemandbase notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Subscription API webhooks - company firmographic, company news, family-tree (ownership), and person employment-change alerts to a configurable URL.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to HubSpot through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionHubSpot pushes changes as they happen — webhook events backed by change data capture. Records: incremental near-real-time change tracking.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Demandbase and HubSpot: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Demandbase's Activities and Campaigns), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
On the HubSpot side: Line Item, Product, Ticket, Quote, plus custom fields where HubSpot exposes them. On the Demandbase side: Change Subscriptions, Accounts, Opportunities, People (Persons). Stacksync auto-detects both schemas and converts types between the two systems.
Yes. Each object mapping can be bidirectional or restricted to a single direction (both systems accept writes). Read-only mirrors, one-way pushes, and full two-way sync can be mixed in the same integration.
Common patterns for Demandbase and HubSpot: Lead and lifecycle status agree; Segments and audiences follow the CRM; Where Demandbase generates leads: hand-off without re-keying. Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Demandbase: REST APIs (Demandbase One) - a B2B API (company/contact search, details, and match with async bulk enrichment jobs), a read-only Data Export API and a write-capable Data Import API (both async bulk jobs), and a Subscription API for webhook change alerts. Authentication: JWT bearer tokens minted from Demandbase One API Key Sets at the platform level; each credential set expires after 8 hours and is rotated. Legacy single-user API tokens are deprecated. HubSpot: REST API (CRM v3). Authentication: OAuth (choose HubSpot account and authorize Stacksync); requires a HubSpot 'Super Admin' to grant access; optional "Grant access to sensitive fields" checkbox for sensitive/highly sensitive fields. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
HubSpot: Associations CDC Boost is unavailable on Free and Starter HubSpot accounts; without it, detecting association changes requires full scans (1M associations > 1 hour). Demandbase: Demandbase splits data movement across a read-only Data Export API (accounts, opportunities, people, activities, campaigns, lists) and a write-capable Data Import API (import or update accounts, opportunities, persons, activities, intent, and custom source data). Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Demandbase and HubSpot without custom code.
