Two-way sync
Changes in DealCloud or Demandbase instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep DealCloud and Demandbase in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
DealCloud owns the customer relationship and the pipeline; Demandbase runs the campaigns, audiences, and outreach that fill it. The two overlap on the same people and companies — a lead in one system is a subscriber, a segment member, an event registrant, or an ad audience in the other. When that overlap is bridged by CSV exports or a nightly job, sales works from lists that no longer match reality and marketing keeps targeting people whose status has already moved on.
Stacksync syncs Fund, Investment, Relationship, Activity in DealCloud with Accounts, Opportunities, People (Persons), Activities in Demandbase field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields — DealCloud can own account and opportunity status while Demandbase owns engagement and campaign membership — and Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
When a contact or lead is created or edited in either system, the matching record appears or updates in the other, so campaigns reach real people and reps see who is already being marketed to.
Opens, clicks, form fills, event attendance, or ad responses recorded in Demandbase post back to the contact or account in DealCloud, so reps see interest before they reach out.
Status, stage, or score set in one system updates the matching record in the other, so a lead marketing is still nurturing is not worked as sales-ready, and a closed account stops receiving prospecting.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| DealCloud objects | Demandbase objects | How this pairing syncs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activity Synced with incremental and full sync. | Activities Engagement and custom activity records (web, campaign, intent); exported via Data Export and pushed in through the Data Import API using custom activity types. | Same entity on both sides — records pair one-to-one and field-level changes reconcile in both directions. Custom fields on either side are included in the mapping. | |
| Investment Synced with incremental and full sync. | Accounts Company/account records with firmographics, intent, and Demandbase qualification and engagement scores; exported via the Data Export API and imported or updated via the Data Import API. | Investment is specific to DealCloud and Accounts to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Relationship Synced with incremental and full sync. | Opportunities Opportunity records synced from the CRM into Demandbase; exported with calculated insights and imported or updated through the Data Import API. Read and write. | Relationship is specific to DealCloud and Opportunities to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Task Synced with incremental and full sync. | People (Persons) Contact/person records with verified business email, title, seniority, and quality grades; fetched and matched via the B2B Contact endpoints and exported or imported. | Task is specific to DealCloud and People (Persons) to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| User Synced with incremental and full sync. | Campaigns Marketing campaign records and creative assets exported through the Data Export API; read-only reporting feed. | User is specific to DealCloud and Campaigns to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. | |
| Deal Synced with incremental and full sync. | Account & Person Lists (Audiences) Named account and person segments exported via Data Export; custom audiences pushed into Demandbase through the Data Import API. Read and write. | Deal is specific to DealCloud and Account & Person Lists (Audiences) to Demandbase — each maps to any object or custom field on the other side. |
Each direction of the sync is driven by what the source system can signal and what the destination accepts — detection, delivery, and expected latency below.
DetectionStacksync polls DealCloud for changes on an incremental schedule, reading only records changed since the previous pass. Incremental via each entry's last-modified timestamp.
DeliveryEach detected change is written to Demandbase through its API, with automatic retries and rate-limit backoff.
DetectionDemandbase notifies Stacksync of record changes through webhook events. Subscription API webhooks - company firmographic, company news, family-tree (ownership), and person employment-change alerts to a configurable URL.

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between DealCloud and Demandbase: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as DealCloud's Activity and Investment), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
DealCloud: REST API (DealCloud Data API v2). Authentication: OAuth 2.0 client-credentials; a DealCloud administrator generates a client ID and secret in the DealCloud admin API settings and grants Stacksync the required scopes. Demandbase: REST APIs (Demandbase One) - a B2B API (company/contact search, details, and match with async bulk enrichment jobs), a read-only Data Export API and a write-capable Data Import API (both async bulk jobs), and a Subscription API for webhook change alerts. Authentication: JWT bearer tokens minted from Demandbase One API Key Sets at the platform level; each credential set expires after 8 hours and is rotated. Legacy single-user API tokens are deprecated. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
DealCloud: DealCloud is Intapp's deal and relationship management platform, purpose-built for private capital markets (private equity, venture capital, investment banking, and advisory firms). Demandbase: Change detection is webhook-based via the Subscription API (company firmographic, company news, family-tree, and DB person employment subscriptions) with configurable URLs and signing secrets, not log-based CDC. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between DealCloud and Demandbase without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means DealCloud and Demandbase records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed DealCloud and Demandbase connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom DealCloud–Demandbase integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both DealCloud and Demandbase. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
