Twitter Ads: REST Ads API (synchronous management + asynchronous analytics jobs). Authentication: OAuth 1.0a signed requests (three-legged user context) from a developer app allowlisted for the Ads API; OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens are limited to some read paths, while campaign, line item, and audience writes require OAuth 1.0a signing. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Bill: Rate limits are enforced per developer key: 20,000 requests per hour, login capped at 200 per hour, and a maximum of 3 concurrent requests per developer key per organization. Twitter Ads: Funding Instruments cannot be created through the API — an X account manager sets them up, and the API only reads and references them. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Bill and Twitter Ads without custom code.
