  2. Exchange interchange IDs and the customer's EDI specifications for each transaction set in scope.
  3. Build and validate maps; 3G's web-based integration tool (3G-Hub) supports self-service mapping, and XML API web services are available for direct system integration.
  4. Test the full tender-response-status-invoice loop with the 3G customer before handling live freight.

Testing: There is no central 3G certification program; testing is run per trading relationship with the 3G customer. Expect to validate 990 responses to test 204 tenders, 214 status events at agreed milestones, and 210 invoices against the customer's rating and settlement rules before go-live. Major LTL carriers may already have established connections to the platform, which reduces net-new testing.
