Connecting via Rithum DSCO
- Create a Rithum supplier account and complete the Setup Guide phases: company setup (users, contacts, warehouses), joining the network, and per-channel setup.
- Choose a connection per data message: every account includes a dedicated SFTP/FTP mailbox, AS2 is available on request, flat files (CSV, TAB, Excel) carry rich product content, and the Dsco Platform API supports programmatic integration.
- Map EDI documents to the Dsco specification (X12 VICS syntax) or use the platform's flat-file and API schemas, per the retailer's requirements.
- Run Setup Guide tests against inventory, order, shipment, and invoice data for each retail trading partner.
- Reach Network Certified status and pay the setup fee; the trading partner then activates the account in production.
Testing: Suppliers must complete the Setup Guide's test runs against inventory, order, shipment, invoice, and returns data for each trading partner; exact requirements vary by retailer. Certification (Network Certified status) plus setup-fee payment are prerequisites for production activation. Dsco generates 997 acknowledgments for each transaction it processes.
Timeline: Self-service onboarding through the Setup Guide; Rithum publishes no fixed certification timeline. Duration is governed by the supplier's mapping work and per-retailer test completion, plus setup-fee payment before production.
