Vendors receive purchase orders and return shipment and invoice data through it, either via a browser-based portal or system-to-system file exchange, as flat files (fixed width, CSV, XML) or standard EDI documents — purchase order (850), ship notice (856), and invoice (810).
Connecting via Radial/VendorNet
- Enroll as a drop ship vendor under the retailer's Radial dropship program; Radial charges a vendor setup fee defined in its order form.
- Choose an integration level: browser-based portal access for manual order handling, or system-to-system file exchange for automation.
- For system integration, agree the file format with Radial: fixed width, CSV, XML, or standard EDI documents are supported.
- Map the order, shipment, and invoice flows and configure inventory feeds to the retailer's specification.
- Complete Radial's implementation testing; the standard implementation tests up to two orders per document type before hard launch.
