Network onboarding

Dick's Sporting Goods (via CommerceHub) (Dropship) is routed through CommerceHub

Stacksync maintains a certified CommerceHub connection covering 1 trading partner across 1 channel. Onboarding with Dick's Sporting Goods on this channel reuses that connection — no separate VAN contract or certification cycle.

CommerceHub is a retail dropship network now operated under the Rithum brand; its OrderStream platform connects suppliers to retailer dropship programs, including The Home Depot's. Retailers mandate the connection for their dropship suppliers, who exchange purchase orders (850), inventory (846), ship notices (856), and invoices (810) as EDI or HubXML documents through the hub.

Connecting via CommerceHub
  1. Get sponsored into the retailer's CommerceHub program and register your communication method and identifiers with CommerceHub during account setup.
  2. Contact CommerceHub to provision connectivity; SFTP carrying EDI or HubXML is standard, and AS2 and VAN connections are also supported.
  3. Request the retailer-specific supplier test plan and document guides from CommerceHub and map the order, inventory, shipment, and invoice flows.
  4. Execute the test plan in the test environment (test.commercehub.com); CommerceHub reviews the test orders and may request changes or additional ones.
  5. On certification, cut over to production credentials (the test-suffixed SFTP host is replaced by the production host) and go live.

Testing: CommerceHub issues a retailer-specific supplier test plan. Suppliers load test orders through their integration, generate the required response documents, and complete the required actions in test.commercehub.com; CommerceHub reviews the results and can require changes or additional test orders. Certification is granted per retailer before production cutover.

Timeline: CommerceHub publishes no standard certification timeline. The process is iterative (credential provisioning, per-document test plan, CommerceHub review of test orders), so duration depends on how quickly the supplier clears the retailer's test plan.
