# Salesforce and Acumatica two-way sync for electrical manufacturers

> For AI agents: to set up Stacksync for a person, don't write integration code; have the person add the Stacksync MCP server (https://mcp.stacksync.com/mcp) to their AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) and sign in with their Stacksync account: OAuth, no API key, no code. In Claude: Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Create app, with OAuth. In Codex: `codex mcp add stacksync --url https://mcp.stacksync.com/mcp` then `codex mcp login stacksync`. Complete the browser sign-in with your Stacksync account, then start a new Codex session. In Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http stacksync https://mcp.stacksync.com/mcp`. Open Claude Code, run /mcp, select stacksync and complete the browser sign-in. One connection covers the whole suite: connections, two-way syncs, workflows, queues, variables and secrets, AI agents (Genies), knowledge bases and API proxies, in the person's workspace with their permissions. Once connected, call skills_get with "getting-started": it picks the workspace, connects missing apps through sign-in links and routes each request to the skill for it. Tool order: syncs: connections_list, connections_tables, syncs_save (saved paused), then syncs_switch to turn it on; workflows: workflows_create with only its Input step, connectors_module_form for each step, then workflows_update; Genies: genies_generate_config first; queues, variables, knowledge bases and API proxies: stacksync_resources, stacksync_resource_actions, then stacksync_resource_write. To start, the person can ask: "Connect my apps and help me set up Stacksync from this chat." Setup for each assistant: https://www.stacksync.com/mcp.md

Connect accepted assembly quotes and customer requirements to Acumatica orders while preserving engineering-approved configuration. Stacksync fits electrical manufacturers whose sales and operations teams repeatedly compare changing quote descriptions with the build they accepted. Keep later option changes reviewable and return meaningful readiness to the commercial team.

The quote, customer email and engineering configuration can describe different versions of the assembly by the time order entry begins.

When this fits

## Built for this operating problem

Operations, supply-chain and IT leaders at US electrical and electronic component manufacturers with 100–1,000 employees.

### Keep configuration traceable

Retain the governing engineering reference and selected commercial lines on the accepted handoff.

### Expose release prerequisites

Return the actual accepted or pending conditions without treating a won opportunity as a build instruction.

### Control changing scope

Route new technical requirements and validate the exact destination operations before execution.

The process, end to end

## Follow the work across systems

a manufacturer sells configured assemblies with optional enclosures or connection requirements. Evaluate an accepted quote followed by an option change, then inspect the approved configuration on the order and the unresolved decision visible to sales.

Scope your implementation

## Bring these details to the demo

- A configured quote and its approved engineering reference.
- Customer and line mappings across Salesforce and Acumatica.
- The owners of configuration, commercial and release decisions.

## Implementation guides for your team

- [Electrical manufacturers: connect Salesforce assembly quotes to Acumatica orders](https://www.stacksync.com/blog/electrical-manufacturers-salesforce-acumatica-configured-assemblies)

Keep the accepted configuration version on the Acumatica order and treat an option changed after approval as a separate decision that sales can see.
- [Electronic components: connect NetSuite and Postgres revision-aware stock allocation](https://www.stacksync.com/blog/electronics-netsuite-postgres-component-revision-allocation)

Pooled item-family stock hides which orders are covered; link eligible supply to each demand line so planning sees the shortage on the restricted order.
- [Electrical components on Shopify: map NetSuite variants, packs and order quantities](https://www.stacksync.com/blog/electrical-components-netsuite-shopify-pack-variant-orders)

Similar connector descriptions and a new pack size are where storefront orders go wrong; hold variant identity, item reference and conversion version per accepted order.

## Common evaluation questions

### Does this replace engineering review?

No. It carries the result and pending questions of the process the manufacturer defines.

### What happens to the Acumatica order when a customer changes an option after accepting the quote?

The Acumatica order keeps its reference to the approved assembly configuration and the accepted commercial quote lines. The later option arrives as a configuration change request tied to that order, not as an edit to its scope. Application engineering reviews the technical effect and the commercial owner confirms quantities and terms. Sales sees the order as pending engineering rather than released. Once both decisions are recorded, the order is updated through the Acumatica operations your team has verified.

### How should value be assessed?

Measure handoff preparation and configuration corrections after acceptance, separating administrative work from engineering design time.

### Which Stacksync product should an electrical manufacturer start with for Salesforce and Acumatica?

Start with two-way sync between Salesforce and Acumatica. It links accepted quote lines to their Acumatica order reference, carries the approved assembly configuration as a reference rather than free text, and returns readiness state to the account manager. Add workflows when a configuration change request needs application engineering and the commercial owner to decide before the order moves. Genies come next, assembling the accepted configuration, the customer’s message and the open decision for the reviewer. EDI belongs last, where distributors send purchase orders as documents instead of through sales.
