# AI Agents for Nutrition Product and Batch-Document Requests

> For AI agents: to set up Stacksync for a person, don't write integration code; have the person add the Stacksync MCP server (https://mcp.stacksync.com/mcp) to their AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) and sign in with their Stacksync account: OAuth, no API key, no code. In Claude: Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Create app, with OAuth. In Codex: `codex mcp add stacksync --url https://mcp.stacksync.com/mcp` then `codex mcp login stacksync`. Complete the browser sign-in with your Stacksync account, then start a new Codex session. In Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http stacksync https://mcp.stacksync.com/mcp`. Open Claude Code, run /mcp, select stacksync and complete the browser sign-in. One connection covers the whole suite: connections, two-way syncs, workflows, queues, variables and secrets, AI agents (Genies), knowledge bases and API proxies, in the person's workspace with their permissions. Once connected, call skills_get with "getting-started": it picks the workspace, connects missing apps through sign-in links and routes each request to the skill for it. Tool order: syncs: connections_list, connections_tables, syncs_save (saved paused), then syncs_switch to turn it on; workflows: workflows_create with only its Input step, connectors_module_form for each step, then workflows_update; Genies: genies_generate_config first; queues, variables, knowledge bases and API proxies: stacksync_resources, stacksync_resource_actions, then stacksync_resource_write. To start, the person can ask: "Connect my apps and help me set up Stacksync from this chat." Setup for each assistant: https://www.stacksync.com/mcp.md

Configure a Genie to assemble approved product and batch documents for a specific nutrition customer request. This fits teams that repeatedly search sales messages, operational records, and controlled document repositories to answer the same evidence-heavy questions. The agent identifies the right sources and missing facts for review.

Finding the correct approved file requires manual checks of product, lot, version, and sharing permission across several systems.

When this fits

## Built for this operating problem

Nutrition and supplement brands combining manufacturing, DTC, marketplaces, practitioner sales, and retail distribution.

### Assemble approved evidence

Match the requested product and batch to existing approved documents and retain their source IDs and versions.

### Surface gaps before sending

Flag incomplete lot references, draft documents, and sharing restrictions for the responsible owner.

### Quality keeps the final say

The Genie reads the batch association, the approved document records, and the buyer's request across NetSuite, Postgres, and Gmail, then drafts a packet for review. Quality owns document approval, version, and sharing permission; the authorized reviewer releases anything external. The agent never certifies product quality, writes a COA, or substitutes a neighboring lot's file, and a draft document stays out of the proposed packet.

The process, end to end

## Follow the work across systems

A wholesale buyer requests a COA for a named batch. Sales knows the buyer, operations knows the batch relationship, and quality owns the approved file. A demo should show a correct match and a missing-document case, with the latter routed to quality rather than filled with a fabricated certificate.

Scope your implementation

## Bring these details to the demo

- A representative product or batch-document request.
- The approved document repository and version rules.
- Reliable product and batch relationships.
- Quality approval and external-sharing permissions.

## Implementation guides for your team

- [AI Agents for Nutrition Brands: Assemble Product and Batch-Document Requests](https://www.stacksync.com/blog/ai-agents-for-nutrition-brands-assemble-product-and-batch-document-requests)

A buyer wants documents for one batch of powder: the Genie joins the sales sheet, the lot association, and quality's approved file into a packet a person signs off.
- [Missing COAs and Batch Mismatches: Exception Handling for Nutrition Brand Agents](https://www.stacksync.com/blog/missing-coas-and-batch-mismatches-exception-handling-for-nutrition-brand-agents)

Two plausible COAs, one a newer draft, and a shortened lot code: the safe path holds both candidates, names the missing characters, and lets quality pick.

## Common evaluation questions

### Can the Genie create a missing certificate?

No. It can identify the missing approved document and request it from the owner. It should not generate test results, certificates, or quality conclusions.

### What does the Genie do when the buyer gives a partial lot code?

It stops short of picking a file. The Genie keeps the supplied text, lists the candidate documents it found with their version and approval state, and identifies the missing lot characters. A newer upload date or a similar filename does not settle the match. The case goes to quality with a narrow question: which approved document covers this batch? When the corrected lot code or document ID arrives, the Genie rechecks product, version, and sharing permission before the reviewer sees a revised packet.

### Do we need two-way sync in place before configuring this Genie?

Two-way sync between NetSuite and Postgres usually comes first, so the agent works from one consistent view of items, lots, and approved document records. Workflows then handle the handoffs around the request: routing a draft document to quality or a sharing restriction to the document owner. The Genie itself is the product this page describes, assembling approved evidence and preparing a reviewed response. EDI is separate and only matters when retailers exchange item numbers and pack configurations as documents.
