FAQ

## Frequently asked questions

### How many systems are in the connector catalog?

The website has 303 active system entries. A catalog listing is a starting point for integration planning; check the individual page for documented Stacksync object coverage and setup requirements or request a compatibility review.

### Are all connectors bidirectional?

No. Two-way sync requires a documented read/write route on both sides and writable selected fields. Some connectors are read-only, and other catalog entries still require confirmation. Vendor API or webhook capabilities alone do not establish a managed two-way integration.

### Can I request a connector that is not on the list?

Discuss the system and use case in a Stacksync demo or through the contact form. Include the objects, required reads and writes, authentication method, volume, and expected update frequency so the team can assess the implementation and timeline.

### How do APIs, webhooks, and change data capture affect sync?

An API can provide record access, a webhook can notify an integration of an event, and change data capture can expose data changes. Their availability does not establish which mechanism a Stacksync connector uses or guarantee its speed. Consult the connector guide and measure the configured flow.

### What determines connector setup time?

Setup depends on account permissions, credential authorization, network access, object support, schema requirements, and the initial dataset. Some databases need primary-key or change-tracking setup, while SaaS integrations may require an administrator or an eligible plan.

### Do connectors support custom fields and objects?

Coverage varies by connector, object, and account plan. Check the documented support matrix and validate the selected fields. Managed IDs, formula values, and other read-only fields cannot become writable simply because they are mapped.

### What should be tested before production?

Test a small non-production dataset for initial-load accuracy, record identity, relationships, permitted writes, validation failures, and observed delay. Confirm deletion and conflict behavior explicitly, then assign an owner for failures, credentials, and schema changes.
